Von's work in TV and Film has documented his wide range as an actor, like performing as Nick Cannon's father in the commercially successful film â€œDrumlineâ€ as â€œDevon Milesâ€ Sr. Also the CBS made for TV movie â€œThe Rosa Parks Storyâ€ as â€œED Nixonâ€ (2002). Other featured credits include; HBO's â€œBoycottâ€, â€œA Lesson Before Dyingâ€, â€œFunny Valentinesâ€, Disney's â€œSelma Lord Selmaâ€ and â€œFlashâ€, along with guest starring roles in the syndicated TV series â€œDue Southâ€ and â€œIn the Heat of the Nightâ€, and the critically acclaimed HBO film â€œMiss Evers Boysâ€.
Von Coulter is originally from Compton, CA and has lived in the Atlanta area for over 20 years with wife and two sons. Currently, Von has immersed himself in giving back to the community and educating others. His research, extensive study and professional experience will allow him to teach and educate the craft of acting, and inform and inspire individuals with performing aspirations.
